Anyone who has ever bought a home has learned that buying a home is very stressful!  No one ever feels prepared for all of the stages which we all go through to become home owners.  Starting with the loan approval process, then the home search process, knowing what to look out for, what questions to ask, how to evaluate a potential home, then the negotiation process, what should your Realtor© do for you, how to remove your emotions from the business transaction, the inspections, surprises, loans changes, settlement.  All these issues can seem overwhelmingly complex at times.

Once we get through settlement, then what?  Maintenence issues, who to call for what?!  What happens if we find issues after settlement?  What do we do if life circumstances change?  Loose a job, become ill ad cannot work, elderly parents start to need us more and more, taking time away from our regular responsibilities....

Rarely are we truly prepared for these things in life.  Certainly school did not teach us how to balace the expenses of home ownership with our lifestyle desires.

Union First Mortgage has developed a comprehensive education process which we provide to home buyers who do not feel ready at this time or who actually are not ready, for what ever reason, be it credit issues, income issues, etc., to complete the buying process.  Our Strategic Preparation Program takes you through all the stages and helps you to be truly prepared for being a home owner.  We help you to work on any possible credit issues (we are not a credit repair agency, but often refer our client to reputable agencies if this is applicable), budgeting and all those pre and post home buying issues.
